Making Some Changes

Yesterday was Kori's last day at her job. She will now be doing the much more difficult job of raising our son by being a stay at home mom. We are grateful that we are even able to have her stay home because we feel it is important to have a parent raising kids instead of sending them to child care. We will most likely be doing homeschooling anyway, so this is a good first step to making that possible.

The ironic part is that, because we are now a single income family, we actually qualify for some state assistance programs even though I still work for the government. Whether or not we will take advantage of that is yet to be seen. The next few days will be time for us all to spend together before my paternity leave is over and I have to return to my job. I am thankful that I have had this time to be home with Ethan to get to know him.

Just so you know and if you need any makeup, Kori sells Mary Kay and you can support a single income family by making purchases from her.
